Cambridge - Art and the Environment





CAMBRIDGE OBLIQUE ARTS HAS WORKED WITH THE SUPPORT OF CAMBRIDGE CITY COUNCIL TO ENGAGE YOUNG PEOPLE IN THE EXPLORATION OF THEIR ENVIRONMENT USING DIGITAL ARTS. WORKSHOPS AT ROSS STREET COMMUNITY CENTRE AND ROMSEY MILL HAVE TOOK PLACE SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER/NOVEMBER 2007.  YOUNG PEOPLE USED LOCAL INSPIRATION SUCH AS THE LIME KILN NATURE RESERVE- DIGITAL IMAGES OF RARE PLANTS FOUND THERE PROJECTED ONTO THE PARTICIPANTS AND RE-PHOTOGRAPHED.
